The Elite Baseball League was founded in 2005 by Ryan Rutherford and 23 other dedicated DMB players. Ryan left the league and Scott Ryan was acclaimed the new league commissioner. We continue to be a 24 keeper league. We play a 162 game schedule which closely follows that of major league baseball. Our annual free agent/rookie draft starts in mid January each year.
We are a dues free league; however, every owner must own a current DMB disk.
Owners must be willing to attempt to play a majority of their series live using DMB's H2H Netplay feature. This type of environment creates a very competitive and fun league with lots of interaction and trades between all members. We played 70% of our series H2H this past year!!
